The Red Bluff Fire Department received official notification that we have been awarded $48,830 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of the 2005 Fire Act Grant.  This marks the second year in a row that the RBFD was awarded this grant; in 2004 the RBFD received $92,000 from FEMA under the same grant.

These grants will greatly assist the RBFD in the purchase of firefighter tools and equipment that are used daily in our operations.

Both city and county residents will benefit from these grants as the RBFD has very strong automatic aid and mutual aid agreements with the Tehama County Fire Department.
