On Friday, April 21, 2006, firefighters from the Red Bluff Fire Department spent 9 hrs on the streets of Red Bluff soliciting donations from passing motorists for the annual Relay for Life fundraising event.  The Tehama County Chapter of the Relay for Life supports the American Cancer Society in the struggle against cancer.  

This was the 4th annual Relay for Life boot drive in the history of the department.

Total amount raised during this boot drive was $15,502.67.  As always, every penny of this fundraiser will once again go to the Tehama County Chapter of Relay for Life. 

In four years of boot drives for the Relay for Life, the RBFD has raised and donated a total of $42,203.96 in Red Bluff.
