June 1st marks the beginning of the 2004 fire season for our area.  Much of the native vegetation has cured and now presents a significant fire hazard.  We strongly encourage all property owners within the Red Bluff city limits to check the weed abatement section of our website to make sure that they have complied with the city's weed abatement standards. 

Also, by order of Fire Chief Michael Damon, no residential burning may take place within the Red Bluff city limits from June 1st until the end of fire season (typically in October) due to the high fire danger.
