At the request of the California Office of Emergency Services (OES), the Red Bluff Fire Department has re-deployed personnel and equipment to the "Pigeon" fire in Trinity County.

Division Chief Jon Bennett and Fire Captain Vern Raglin have responded as supervisors to lead a strike team of state OES fire engines (5 engines in total) from Northern California.

Over the years, the RBFD has maintained a strong involvement in the state-wide mutual aid system that is coordinated by OES.
