At the request of the California Office of Emergency Services (OES), the Red Bluff Fire Department has deployed personnel and equipment to the devastating fires in Southern California.

RBFD Engine 4 along with five firefighters from the RBFD have joined four other engines from Tehama County and the City of Corning as part of a local government Engine Strike Team.  RBFD Division Chief Jon Bennett is the Strike Team Leader for the team.

Over the years, the RBFD has maintained a strong involvement in the state-wide mutual aid system that is coordinated by OES.
