At the request of the California Office of Emergency Services (OES), the Red Bluff Fire Department has deployed personnel and equipment to the lightning caused fires in Butte County.

OES Engine 324 under the command of RBFD Fire Engineer Dave Carr has joined other local government fire engines to form a strike team of five fire engines.  

Over the years, the RBFD has maintained a strong involvement in the state-wide mutual aid system that is coordinated by OES.
