At the request of the California Office of Emergency Services (OES), the Red Bluff Fire Department has deployed personnel and equipment to the lightning caused fires in Shasta County.
OES Engine 324 along with four firefighters from the RBFD have joined four other regional OES engines as part of an OES Engine Strike Team.
Over the years, the RBFD has maintained a strong involvement in the state-wide mutual aid system that is coordinated by OES.
