At the April 3rd City Council meeting, the Red Bluff City Council authorized an agreement between the City and the California Office of Emergency Services (OES) for the use of a new OES engine by the RBFD.

OES has provided such engines to dozens of local government agencies across the State under similar agreements.

To make room for this new fire truck, the City Council also authorized the Fire Chief to begin the process of retiring old Engine 2, which has effectively served the community for nearly 30 years.

The Red Bluff Fire Department has been a very active participant in the State of California Mutual Aid System.
