On August 8th, at the request of the California Office of Emergency Service (OES), the Red Bluff Fire Department dispatched one Strike Team Leader (Division Chief Gerry Gray) and Engine 2 (Captain Raglin & crew) to the Stevens fire in Placer county.  Fire Marshal Tina Lee also responded as part of CDF Incident Command Team #1.

The Stevens fire burned approximately 1,000 acres and claimed 2 homes and 2 outbuildings.

OES will reimburse the City of Red Bluff for the costs of the personnel and equipment used on the fire.
