New Fire Engine 4 is now in service and has joined the RBFD firefighting fleet.  Engine 4 is a 2005 Pierce Dash and features a very short wheelbase for quick and easy maneuvering.  Engine 4 carries 750 gallons of water and can pump 1,500 gallons per minute.  Engine 4 also has a second water pump to allow it to "pump & roll" on fast-moving grass fires.  Lastly, Engine 4 has a hydrostatic generator which can deliver an impressive 8KW of much-needed lighting to the scene of any emergency.  We look forward to many years of dependable service from this fire engine.
